Humphrey is a sweetie who came knocking at the gate, crying to be let in! He was emaciated, matted and had toenails so long, they were sticking into his pads over half an inch deep. His skin and coat were a mess. Humphrey has the sweetest, goofiest demeanor. He gets along with everyone, dogs, people, and is learning not to chase the cats outside. His time of living alone "on the streets" has left him with separation anxiety. He does not like to even be in a different room than his people. Humphrey's skin and coat are getting better and he is slowly putting on weight. He has been neutered. Humphrey will need someone willing to take him to obedience and to help this big lug feel safe. Unlike most Newfie's, Humphrey does NOT like the water! He is a total love and would really like someone to make him their "special someone". Humphrey does not get on furniture.
