Honey was found alone along the roadside, emaciated and tick infested. She weighed 18 lbs. - approximately half of what she now weighs. Unlike most stray hunting dogs, she came readily to us and let me pick her up and put her into my car. She was so happy to have someone bathe her and feed her and take the ticks off of her. She took right to having a soft place to sleep, and although she likely had never been inside a house before, never had an accident inside. She is so loving and playful. She plays with all the dogs here, big, little, old, puppies, but her favorite playmate is one of the cats! :) Honey is very smart and learns quickly. She loves to please and she loves hugs and tickles, turning belly up for a tummy rub! She would love to have you as a permanent tummy rubber!
Honey lives in Mt. Pleasant, SC with her mom, dad, a baby, and a four-legged sister.
